A "Blog" 'ey?

Hello hello. Welcome, greetings and all that. As you no doubt are aware (thus the remainder of this sentence is, in fact, useless) you have arrived at the Blog of Robert Messina. The very same Robert Messina that you know (or most likely don't know) from such places as Girrawheen SHS, Curtin University, GAME Kingsway, some random birthday party, the annual relative get together or just Perth, Western Australia.

Before I begin on this (epic?) journey that is this Blog, I'd like to explore where and how this "Blog" came to be. You see, I have been fortunate enough to have been using the internet for quite some time. As early as 1998/1999 in fact. Back in the old days, blogging didn't exist. So naturally, when I started seeing the word "Blog" written about on various forums and webpages, my interest was piqued. Upon more careful inspection, it appears the "Blog" taps into and successfully liberates some obscure innate desire of every human being to let every other human being know how they're feeling. And apparently, this feels good. And why shouldn't it? I mean, everybody else cares how you feel right? right!? Surely they don't have anything better to do with their time than read about how you feel?

So, here I am. This is my Blog. My attempt at letting you all know how I feel. If you don't care...well, I don't blame you. I wouldn't.
